Chief Executive Officer
Cillin O’Flynn has responsibility for the insurance operations in the Life (CEO) and Property & Casualty (GM) businesses for Hong Kong.
Cillin has been with Generali since 2010, initially working in Generali Pan Europe as Chief Operating Officer with additional responsibilities for the development of the HNW and Retail Life cross-border businesses. Following this, he was appointed to the role of Country Manager & CEO for the Generali Operations in the United Arab Emirates (Life) and Middle East (Property & Casualty). In his leadership role in Generali Hong Kong, Cillin is working to implement innovative and ambitious new ideas aligned to Generali Group Strategy.
Head of Legal and Compliance
Andrew Chan is responsible for developing the legal and compliance strategy for Generali Hong Kong. He leads both Legal and Compliance teams for Life and P&C businesses across Hong Kong.
Andrew brings with him more than 20 years of experience from the insurance industry, having previously worked with Prudential, MetLife, Ageas, CIGNA, and AIA. Andrew has qualifications in law, enterprise risk management, corporate governance, AML/CTF, and big data governance.
Chief Financial Officer
Arsh Kaumi is responsible for financial performance, capital management and strategic transformation for Generali Life and P&C in Hong Kong. He leads the finance, accounting, planning, investments and procurement teams.
Arsh joined Generali in 2009 in India where he was Head of Finance for Future Generali P&C. He moved to the Asia Regional office in 2013 where his last position was Regional Head of Financial Reporting for Generali Asia.
Cathy Lin is responsible for ensuring that the company fulfils the statutory requirement of the Insurance Companies Ordinance Regulation. She leads both the Corporate and Product Actuarial functions across Generali businesses in Hong Kong.
Cathy has over 27 years of actuarial experience in the insurance field. Before joining Generali, she had worked in Friends Provident International, Cigna Worldwide Life Insurance, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sun Life Hong Kong, and insurers in China and Taiwan.
Chief Operation Officer
Connie Yeung is responsible for the overall management of Operations for Generali Hong Kong. Her key mandate is to redefine the company’s operations strategy to maximize efficiency. In addition to Information Technology and PMO, she also drives Policy Administration, and Claims and Retail Operations.
Connie has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and joined the Generali Asia Regional Office in 2014. Beginning in 2018, she assumed the current key management role with Generali Hong Kong.
Senior Audit Manager
Isabella Wong manages the audit operations in Generali in Hong Kong and takes accountability for delivering audit activities from risk assessment to planning and engagement execution. She also provides assurance to Regional and Local Senior Management, as well as the Audit Committee on the respective control environment.
She has been in the insurance industry for over 10 years and has worked with companies such as AXA and HSBC Insurance. She started her career with KPMG after graduating from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a degree in Business Administration. Isabella is a HKICPA qualified accountant.
Division Head of Marketing & Communications
Jennifer Chan is responsible for Marketing, Branding and Communications for the overall Hong Kong business. With a strong focus on customer experience, she plays a role in formulating and implementing effective marketing and communications activities through innovative initiatives and digital solutions.
Jennifer has successfully overseen and managed the launches of many global and regional communication and branding initiatives across Generali businesses in Asia in her previous role with Generali Asia Regional Office from 2014-2017.
Head of Risk Management
Lawrence is responsible for engaging key functions in the implementation of an effective risk management and governance framework to manage the risks, including but not limited to the integration of risk concepts into strategic planning, and risk identification and mitigation activities.
He brings with him over 13 years of experience associated with the insurance industry. He joined Generali’s Asia Regional Office in 2008, served with the Group Audit Asia Team, and later transferred to the Hong Kong Branch to take up the role of Head of Risk Management.
Head of Human Resources
Shirley Chan is responsible for the overall people management for Hong Kong. She drives the People Strategies, including Organization Development, Performance Management, Talent Management and Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Change Management, and Succession & Manpower Planning.
Shirley has extensive Human Resources experience in the insurance and financial industries. Prior to joining Generali, she managed and developed the Human Capital for HSBC Insurance in Hong Kong.
Shirley holds a Master Degree in Training & Human Resources Development from the University of Technology, Sydney. She is also an Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (UK).
