- Sergio Di CaroSergio Di Caro, Regional General Manager - Asia, Middle East & Africa
Mr. Di Caro is responsible for the activities of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A in Asia, and is the pioneer of Generali’s expansion in Asia. Under Mr. Di Caro’s leadership, Generali has embarked on rapid expansion in Asia. He joined our Asian network in 1990 in setting up our Employee Benefits operations. In 1997 he was given the full mandate to restructure the Hong Kong branch and then to expand the Asian operations. He is either a member of the board or the Chairman in all of our Asian companies. He was recently appointed to lead the business of Generali Group in the Middle East and Africa. - Regional General Manager - Asia, Middle East & Africa

Mr. Gasso has based in our head office in Trieste, Italy. He is responsible for the control and coordination of the Asian operations from Head office. Prior to this, he was the Deputy Chief Executive of Asia and of Hong Kong branch. - Area Manager - Asia

Mr. Ooi is the Chief Financial Officer and Regional Actuary for Generali in Asia. Mr. Ooi is responsible for leading the regional finance and actuarial functions for the region, based in Hong Kong. Mr. Ooi is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (USA). Prior to joining Generali, he was the Chief Actuary of Hong Leong Assurance in Malaysia - CFO & Regional Actuary

Mr. You is the Country Manager for Generali in China, and in charge of all activities of the Generali Group in China. He serves as Director on the Board for both Generali China Life and Generali China Insurance. He has been with the Generali Group for over 10 years and has held important positions in London, Italy, and China. In particular, he was instrumental in setting up Generali’s operations in China. - Country Manager - China

Mr. Ooi is the Country Manager of Future Generali. He also serves as Director on the Board of both the Companies. Mr. Ooi has more than 20 years of rich leadership experience in the insurance space in various geographies namely Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and India. His previous assignments and important career events include setting up Generali China Joint Venture operations in 2001 and leading it towards achieving the status of China’s No. 1 Foreign Insurer in 2005. - Country Manager - India

Ato brings with him 35 years experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Generali Pilipinas, he was the President and CEO of Manulife Philippines credited for growing Manulife’s business in the Philippines from 1995 thru 2006. His accomplishments include the growth of the Manulife agency force and the restructuring of Manulife’s local experience which culminated in the Company’s listing in the Phil Stock Exchange. As former Executive Vice President of the Philippine American Life (AIG), he charted the Company’s sales operations and drove the change management process for the Company’s agency operations introducing market segmentation to the planning and analysis of the sales and service operations. Moreover, he was responsible for primarily life insurance-related initiatives in various roles as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Insurance Institute of Asia and the Pacific, the life industry’s educational arm - President and Chief Executive Officer - Philippines

Mr. Brooks is the Country Manager of Generali Thailand. He is the CEO of Generali Thailand Life and a director of Generali Thailand Insurance. Prior to joining Generali Thailand, Mr. Brooks was responsible for the development and implementation of alternative distribution for Generali Asia across the region. He was involved in developing strategic partnerships and implementing distribution channels in our Asian businesses. Prior to joining Generali he held key positions at AXA, Prudential Asia, and Prudential UK. - Country Manager - Thailand

Mr. Wong is the General Manager of Assicurazioni Generali Hong Kong Branch. In this capacity, Mr. Wong is responsible for the provision of Life and Non Life insurance to the Hong Kong market. The Hong Kong Branch also serves as a regional hub for Non Life business in Asia. Mr Wong is also the Head of Regional Operations for Non Life business in Asia. - General Manager - Hong Kong
