Generali Group enters Vietnam

Trieste, 26 August 2009. Generali announces it has been granted a license from the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam to open a representative office in the capital, Hanoi. The operating license is expected to be issued during 2010 in favour of a specific subsidiary. The venture is part of the Group’s expansion strategy aimed at strengthening its presence in markets with the highest growth potential. With the addition of Vietnam, Generali’s operational markets in Asia will soon become eight following China, Hong Kong, India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Japan. Click Here to View the Press Release
